AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao today released an app for the ‘Jnanabheri’ student interaction programme scheduled to be organized at Andhra University on August 20.
AU Vice Chancellor G.Nageswara Rao said that competitions would be held in ten categories with each having a first, second and third prizes of Rs.1 lakh, Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000. Prize money worth Rs.17.56 lakh will be distributed among the winners.
The competitions at the university level would begin on August 19 and the details of every participant will be uploaded on the app. ‘Jnanabheri is meant to showcase the projects of students and Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu would interact with the students. The State government has allocated Rs.10 crore to each district for the programme, said HRD minister.
The Vice Chancellor reviewed the arrangements at a high-level meeting. Around 12,000 students from Intermediate to post graduation, professional, engineering, management and law would participate in the event.
