GITAM Vice Chancellor M.S.Prasada Rao today said that the Deemed University has decided to offer Rs.20 crore worth merit scholarships from 2019 academic year.
Speaking to media, Prof.Prasada Rao said that the GITAM Admission Test – 2019 will be conducted for admission into B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Pharm., M.Tech., M.Arch., and M.Pharm, programmes offered at Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru GITAM campuses for the academic year 2019-20. He said that the test will be conducted in 50 cities cross the country from April 10 to 22. Candidates can apply online for GAT from November 9, 2018 and has to visit www.gitam.edu.
The counselling for admissions will be held in the second week of May, he said. Merit scholarships will be given to the students not only through GITAM admission Test but also based on their performance in other Common Entrance Tests in the coming academic year. The GAT consists of 100 objective type multiple choice questions in mathematics (40) physics (30) and Chemistry (30) and each question carries four marks.
