Fair chances are for Tucker for Chief Secretary post

The present Chief Secretary I.Y.R.Krishna Rao will retire on January 31, 2016 while DGP J.V.Ramudu on July 31, 2016.

Special Chief Secretaries A.K.Parida, S.P.Tucker, N.Ramesh Kumar are in the race for the Chief Secretary post while S.A.Huda, S.V.Ramana Murty and N.Sambasiva Rao for the DGP post. Ramesh Kumar will retired on March 31 and Tucker on August 31 while Parida will continue in service for another year. N.Sambasiva Rao is due for promotion as Director General as one DG cadre posts is vacant.

It may be recalled here that the Centre has sanctioned six Chief Secretary cadre posts to the State and the government is continuing with 12 Chief Secretary posts. The Chief Secretary cadres’ posts have reached to 15. The Centre has sanctioned two DG cadre posts and the government is continuing with four. One DG cadre post is vacant and Sambasiva Rao is due for promotion.
