Eleven passengers robbed in Lucknow bound Yeshwantpur Express

As many as 11 passengers of their cell phones and some valuables in the general compartment of the Lucknow bound Yeshwantpur Express in the early hours of Thursday.

As the passengers lay unconscious in their seats for long time, co-passengers complained to the railway authorities at Gudur. All the 11 passengers who belonged to UP and MP were shifted to the Gudur area hospital where they regained their consciousness and were discharged after treatment.

The police said some strangers acquainted themselves with the passengers who ate biscuits and drank soft drinks given by them. They were stated to have taken the biscuits just half an hour after the train left Yeshwantpur.
