Divya Darshanam scheme to be introduced at Kanaka Durga temple

Divya Darshanam that is being implemented to for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy to the poor people, it has been decided to implement the same to Sri Sri Sri Kanaka Durga temple at Vijayawada.

The Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will on January 2 will flag off the 200 pilgrims in and around Vijayawada. 200 pilgrims from each mandal will be taken to Tirumala in four buses and those who wish to avail the facility can apply to the endowments department through online and also applications accepted at the Tahsildar office. As on date, 44,802 pilgrims from 18,369 families have applied to avail the facility.

Under the first phase of Divya Darshanam, pilgrims selected from Vijayawada will take up for four day yatra. On the first day, the pilgrims will visit have the darshan of Sri Sri Sri Kanaka Durga ammavaru on the same day and also Singarayakonda in Prakasam and Srikalahasti temples. On the second day, the pilgrims will begin their tour from Srikalahasti and visit Tiruchanuru ammavari darshan and later to Tirumala. They will return from Tirumala on the third day and visit Ontimitta temple along with Srisailam Mallikharjuna Swamy and on the fourth day, they visit Tripurantakam temple and visit Vijayawada.
