Saturday, February 6, 2016

District Congress president Danam Nagender has resigned the post a short while ago. He will be convening a media conference in which he will expected to reveal his future course of action. The decision to quit the post has been taken following debacle of Congress in yesterday’s GHMC poll results. It may be recalled that he is having differences with TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy for the past few weeks.

Danam Nagender speaking to media said that he tendered resignation for the post on moral grounds on the debacle of the party in GHMC elections. He said that the resignation letter will be sending ot PCC and AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh. People believed TRS manifesto and free power supply, double bed room flats, waiver of water bills, round the clock power supply, construction of six 1,000 bed hospital in the GHMC limits are welcomed. The party would play a constructive role and remind them of their promises, he said.
