Court issues non bailable warrant against KEK’s son in murder case

The Dhone Judicial First Class Magistrate Court today directed the police to register a case against Deputy Chief Minister K.E.Krishna Murty’s son Shyam Babu issued non-bailable warrants against him in connection with the case of murder of YSRCP Pathikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy on May 22 last year.

The court also issued NBWs to Aspari ZPTC member Kappatralla Bojjamma and former Veldurthi Sub-Inspector Naga Thulasi Prasad in the current case. The court gave the order on a private complaint lodged by the leader’s widow Kagati Sridevi alleging that Shyam Babu and his followers were responsible for her husband’s murder but got their names excluded from the charge sheet by exerting pressure on the police and sought their inclusion in the list of accused.

Sridevi told the media that she filed a private complaint in the Dhone court.
