Chief Minister visits Dharmasagaram and showers praise for development

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited Dharmasagaram, adopted by Padmavati, wife of R&B Minister Ch.Ayyanna Patrudu near Narsipatnam at the ‘Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru’ programme today.

He was accorded a traditional welcome to the gorund in the centre of the village decked up with floral patterns. Girls performed Dhimsa dance and played boxing and kabadi. They also portrayed Mother India and various other leaders.

The Chief Minister sat on the ‘rachhabanda’ under a banyan tree along with the Deputy Chief Minister N.Chinna Rajappa, Minister Patrudu and his wife Padmavati. He showered economiums on Pdmavati and said the atmosphere in the village was pleasant. She and the sarpanch and mandal president all being women made a significant achievement, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu visited various stall and performed ‘annaprasanna’ and ‘simantams’ organized by Women Welfare and Child Develoment Department.
