Chief Minister to release retail policy in the Partnership Summit

The 22nd edition of CII Partnership Summit here will be organized on January 10 to 12 in which focus would be made on exploring investment opportunities with large employment potential according to Director of Industries Kartikeya Misra.

Speaking to press, he said the event is being organized for the first time in the State after post bifurcation with ‘Sunrise State’ as the USP, he said seven to eight plenary and break-out sessions would be dedicated to discussions on various themes. United States, Russia, Japan, Australia, China, Singapore and Indonesia has already confirmed of their participation. Over 1,000 delegates from 30 odd countries are expected to participate. Over 150 MoUs would be signed in the Summit, he said.

Retail Policy
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu may release a policy on retail business at the CII Partnership Summit. The State that has already unveiled various missions and policies on IT, Infrastructure will become the first State to have exclusive policy on retail business. The State would roll out red carpet to multi-brand retail outlets.
