Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will lay foundation stone for 75 Micro, Small and Medium industries at Veerapanenigudem in Krishna district on September 30.
AP Non-Resident Telugu Society president Ravi Kumar Vemuru said that the companies would create 2,600 new jobs in the area. The companies include manufacturers of aerospace components, machinery spares, press tools, captive equipment, home appliances and engineering services. He said that APNRT was instrumental in bring the investors to Amaravati and facilitating the new cluster for entrepreneurs.
The land at Veerapanenigudem was procured from the APIIC with the help from APNRT. APNRT CEO K.Sambasiva Rao said that in the first phase, land was allotted through a lottery system to 75 companies.
