Andhra Pradesh State Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will launch ‘Neeru Pragathi’ programme at Kalwa village in Orvakal mandal in Kurnool district on April 15.
District Collector Ch.Vijayamohan told to the officials in a review meeting that the government was launching the programme to desilt ranks, take up jungle clearance, construction of check dams and promote water conservation. He asked the officials to make precautionary arrangements considering the scorching summer heat. Helipads must be readied at the APSP II Battalion in Kurnool and at Kalwa village, he said. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate a school at Orvakal and interact with women there.
