Chief Minister launches Divya Darshanam scheme

  • 200 poor devotees will have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy and visit some temples.

‘Divya Darshanam’ scheme launched by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to the poor people to have the darshan of lord Venkateswara Swamy along with visiting some temples with the hundi income was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today on Monday.

Under the scheme, 200 devotees from each mandal in the first phase will have free darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy along with free boarding and lodging. Chandrababu Naidu flagged off the bus transporting 167 devotees from Vijayawada town and rural mandal. On the first day, they will have darshan of Goddess Durga Devi at Indrakeeladri and visit temples in Singarayakonda, Srikalahasti temples. On the second day, they will visit Padmavati temple at Tiruchanuru and then have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. On the third day , the devotees will visit Srisailam Mallikharjuna Swamy and on the fourth day will return back after having darshan of Tripurambica temple.
