Chief Minister inaugurates Real time Governance Command Control Centre

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated Asia’s biggest videoconference hall at the Real Time Governance command Centre at the Secretariat today.

The objective of the centre is to review, monitor and issue orders in case of emergency and otherwise. If required, the officials/Ministers will monitor the situation at ground level with the help of drones from here. The panchayats would also be linked with it. Officials can interact with the Chief Minister through video conference from their mobile phones.

The Centre popularly known as Command Control is connected with the State level Control Centre located in Vijayawada and the data centres in all the 13 districts. The other salient features include Hitachi Visualisation suite for matrix surveillance and public safety. Pentahjo bi suite for real time data analysis, Barco video wall, the biggest with 24 screens, Matrix camera analytics and data analytics form different departments are displayed on the laser lit wall and processing in real time governance.

The State government has installed 5,000 surveillance cameras across the State and has planned to install another 15,000 very soon.
