Government commits to complete construction of buildings for Secretariat by June

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu addressing secretaries of various departments, district collectors and other officials through video-conference reiterated that the need for quick shifting of employees to Amaravati.

He said that the government is committed to complete construction of buildings with a six lakh square feet for accommodating the Secretariat by June next. He said top priority has to be given to ‘Janmabhoomi – Maa Vooru’ programmes. He wanted them to impart training to members of these committees on December 30. He said that one lakh bore wells were sanctioned under the ‘NTR JALASIRI’ programme. Five km of roads have to be laid every day during the next ninety days to reach a significant milestone in the development of rods. On Smart cities, he instructed the focus their attention on 20 non-negotiable indicators for development of Smart Cities. He instructed the official to give top priority to poverty alleviation programme and steps to be taken for spending Rs.500 crore on MGNREGS works by the next three months.
