Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressing ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’ public meeting at Prattipadu village of Pentapadu mandal said that the Centre had failed to keep up its promises to the State.
He accused the Central government of extending step motherly treatment towards the State. The Centre is not allowing the railway zone in Visakhapatnam and sanctioned only nine out of 11 educational institutions that too on the paper. The Steel plant at Kadapa and the port at Dugarajapatnam have not seen the light yet. When we are trying our best to build a port at Ramayampatnam, leaders in Delhi are creating obstacles’, he said.
On petrochemical plant at Kakinada and the metro rail projects for Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, he said the projects were shelved ed only due to the Centre’s nonchalant attitude.
