TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has summoned the party leaders of Telangana to Vijayawada for resolving the ongoing crisis in the party that surfaced after the leaders expressed divergent views on the likely alliances in Telangana in the next coming general elections.
Sources said that Chandrababu is understood to have taken a serious view of the developments over the past few days that resulted in removing Revanth Reddy from the posts of working president and legislature party leader. The meeting was held at the party’s central committee and politburo members of Telangana on Friday soon after his arrival from a foreign tour.
TTDP leaders led by Telangana unit president L.Ramana briefed Chandrababu Naidu on the issue while Revanth Reddy came late on account of Assembly session. Sources said that Chandrababu told the leaders that he would take a decision on the issue after eliciting the views of the other side also.
