Chandrababu counters MP Avinash Reddy at Janmabhoomi meeting

Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today countered Kadapa MP and YSRCP leader Y.S.Avinash Reddy during the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru meeting at Pulivendula asking him not to politicise the meeting as the one is an official meeting.

When Avinash Reddy was speaking saying that 85 per cent of the work on the Gandikota-Chitravathi Lift Irrigation scheme had been completed during the former Chief Minister YSR time by spending Rs.1,100 crore, the TDP government only completed the remaining work to provide water to the area. Reacting over this, Chandrababu rose from his seat and advised Avinash Reddy not to speak politics during the Janmabhoomi meeting as it is an official meeting.

Chandrababu said that the government is giving more water to Pulivendula than Kuppam and added that who had laid the foundation stone was not pertinent. Water is being provided to the area today, he said. He, however, did not claim credit for the same.
