Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the companies involved in the construction of the capital city to live up their repurtation by completing their works as per schedules.
Addressing a review meeting on the status of the projects in Amaravati today, he asked the officials of CRDA and Amaravati Development Corporation to present a drone video presentation of the projects once in 15 days to enable him take appropriate action against those who either fall short of the deadlines or quality standards.
CRDA officials informed the Chief Minister that housing for MLAs, MLCs and All India Service officers was being taken up by the NCC limited in the administrative city at an estimated cost of Rs.636 crore in 18 towers in Rayapudi and Kondamarajupalem. The project is to be completed by February 2019. The construction of houses for NGOs at an estimated cost of Rs.867 crore was undertaken by L&T.
