Chandrababu Naidu announces job and aid financial aid to child trafficking victim

Following a narration by the child trafficking victim, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu promised her a job as an anganwadi teacher and a fixed deposit of Rs.5 lakh in her name.

The girl, who covered her face with a scarf, recounted that while studying in IX standard, she was jilted by a lover who sold her for Rs.35,000 in Hyderabad and subsequently landed in a brothel house in Mumbai. Chandrababu Naidu speaking in the public meeting in the presence of Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi in Kurnool today, she recalled that she managed to escape with the help of a customer came to Banaganapalli and decided to commit suicide, while police intervened and later admitted her to Swadhar shelter home through ICDS officials.

Moved by the hallowing experience of the girl, Chandrababu announced fixed deposit of Rs.5 lakh in the name of another girl who was raped by her father. The girl who was freed from child labour said she passed fourth standard form AP residential school directly passed SSC and was working as an ANM.
