Minister for NRI Empowerment Kollu Ravindra today said that a round the clock call centre would be set up to address the grievances of the NRIs living across the globe.
The Minister was addressing the media said that there were 25 lakh people from the State are living abroad and the call centre would address their problems and issues. The call centre will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu later this month during his visit to Kuwait, he said.
He said that the government would soon resume supply of kerosene and sugar that was stopped by the Centre. ‘The Centre has stopped the supply of kerosene as every household is provided with gas connection. Realizing the hardship of people who do not have a gas connection, the Chief Minister is keen to resume the supply of kerosene at a subsidized price from Sankranti.
On financial aid to unemployed, Kollu Ravindra said that the government would soon grant the aid to unemployed youth for which Rs.500 crore had been allocated.
