CPS will be abolished upon coming to power, says Jagan Reddy

The Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) will be abolished the day I become Chief Minister’, said YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing people at various places in the district as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Sunday, he announced the same. Braving intermittent rain, Jagan covered the two mandals of Narsipatnam and Makavarapalem in the district. Employees of the state run ambulance services, ‘108’ and ‘104’ complained that they had not been receiving salary and that there was no job security for them. Jagan promised to take up their issue on coming to power.

Minister Ayyanna Patrudu asks to prove charges:: R&B Minister Ch.Ayyanna Patrudu has offered to step down and quit politics if Jagan or for that matter any one proves that he is corrupt and abuses his official powers. Reacting to Jagan’s comments that the Minister was using his official power for vested interests. Ayyanna Patrudu demanded an apology from Jagan for levelling baseless allegations against him. He further said that Jagan is synonymous with political corruption. He has no moral right to make such baseless allegations against the TDP leaders. Jagan has been trying to paint Chandrababu as corrupt for his political mileage, he said.
