CID DSP Y.Harinath Reddy held in disproportionate assets case

The ACB officials today conducted raids on th properties of CID DSP Y.Harinath Reddy for amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The teams raided the properties of the DSP in Kurnool, Kadapa and Anantapur districts in Andhra Pradesh and in Bengaluru city and identified movable and immovable properties. According to rough estimate, the market value of the properties would be around Rs.25 crore.

The officials unearthed two multi-storeyed buildings in Kurnool and Kadapa district registered in the name of the DSP and his wife Suguna. He owned agriculture lands in Kakinada, Daburuvaripalli and Kakkupalli villages. He had house sites in Anantapur and Bengaluru. The lands and sites were registered in the name of the accused son, father, mother, brother-in-law and other family members. The officers also seized Rs.8 lakh in cash, a car and a two-wheeler said ADB DG R.P.Thakur.
