Bharat Forge today announced plans to set up an integrated auto components hub in Nellore with an investment of Rs.1,200 crore.
It signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh at the inaugural of the three day CII Partnership Summit and Sunrise Andhra Pradesh Investment Meet. The proposed hub will employ 3,000 and odd people directly and a similar number of people indirectly said Bharat Forge Chairman Baba Kalyani said and added that another MoU had also been signed with the State Government to set up a multi-modal facility for industrial components, defence and aerospace components including supply chain. It will be located in Anantapur district, he said. The company has finalized the land and will get physical possession in the coming weeks.
Bharat Forge company with manufacturing facilities spread across India, Germany, Sweden and France and it manufactures a wide range of components for the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
