Rajamahendravaram:: Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has admitted that the attempt on the life of Jagan is the Government responsibility. Speaking to media at Chodavaram, he said that the SIT is probing how the knife used to attack Jagan came into the airport where the security is on high side. In response to a question whether the government will honour the directions if given to handover to an independent agency, he however escaped to give a proper answer and said that it is the responsibility of the government to bring out the facts in the case. He further said that the Chief Minister only said that the incident took place in the airport and never said that ‘it is not the responsibility of the government’. On the comments of the accused Srinivasa Rao that there was a threat on his life, he said a judicial inquiry will be ordered to probe into the matter.

Srinivas Rao admits that his plan is to kill Jagan:: “ My target and the task entrusted to me to eliminate Jagan. For this day, I waited for so many days. In fact the knife is aimed at the throat of Jagan but missed” said the accused J.Srinivasa Rao in police interrogation according to sources. He was interrogated by two IPS officers. The previous version of the accused that he is a fan of Jagan and committed the attempt is only for creating sensation is totally wrong and full of lies. It may be recalled that the police in its remand report said that it is a murder attempt.
