Arguments to begin on YSRCP MLA Roja petition on Thursday

A Division Bench of Hyderabad High Court comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip Baba Saheb Bhosale and Justice P.Naveen Rao on Tuesday said that it would hear the arguments on Thursday in the appeal filed by Nagari MLA Roja of YSRCP who was suspended for one year form the AP Assembly.

Ms.Indira Jaising, senior counsel appearing for Roja said that till date the final orders of suspension were not serve upon the MLA. The single judge who ordered notices to the Assembly Secretary has adjourned the case to March 9 for counter avadavat. The petitioner moved the appeal as a lunch motion challenging the adjournment of her petition and the Registry has raised an objection over its maintainability against an adjournment of hearing and placed it before the division bench. The Bench wanted the senior counsel to clarify on the issue and the court was told that in the peculiar circumstances and gravity of the situation, the appeal was moved.

The Division bench said that they would hear all submissions on Thursday.
