  • Vizianagaram:: Ashok Gajapati Raju inaugurates skill development centre:: Minister for Civil Aviation P.Ashok Gajapati Raju on Monday inaugurated the Vizianagaram Skill Development Foundation. It was established as a part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana jointly by the MANSAS educational institutions, National Airports Authority of India and the IL&FS Skill Development Corporation.
  • Kurnool:: Man allegedly thrown out of running train:: A passenger sustained severe injuries and sliped into como after he was allegedly thrown out of a moving train by a ticket examiner at Obulapuram in Muddanur mandal of Kadapa on Monday. According to sources, Giri Prasad of Chinthkunta village of Putlur mandal of Anantapur district had darshan at the Tirumala temple and boarded the Tirupati-Kolhapur Haripriya Express at Tirupati in the return journey on Sunday night. An altercation ensured with a ticket examiner who allegedly pushed out of the passenger from the moving train according to the victim’s father Ramasubbaiah. People was saw the injured beside railway track alerted an ambulance service and rushed to Tadipatri government hospital. He was later shifted to the Kurnool following the advie of the doctors.
  • Nellore:: Six families face social boycott:: Six families of Palugodu SC Colony in Dakkili mandal in the district allegedly faced social boycott by other residents of their own community following differences over religious issues recently. The differences cropped up after the six families converted to Christianity a few months ago and refused to make contributions to the conduct of the Sri Rama Navami celebrations annually held in the colony.
