Amaravati:: DIETCET- Last date extended:: The DIETCET-2017 that will be conducted for admissions into D.Ed courses the last date for submission has been extended to May 15 according to its convener Kakinada Regional Joint Director Devananda Reddy on Thursday. The examinations originally scheduled to be held on May 5,6, and 7 has been postponed to the first week of June.

Hyderabad:: Telugu students shine in JEE:: Students of the Sri Chaitanya and the Narayana group of institutions continued their god performance in the Joint Entrance Examination results that were announced today on Thursday. Students of these institutions secured the first and the second ranks in South India scoring 345 marks and 6th and 9th ranks at the national level in B.Tech Open category. In all other categories, the institutions bagged eight ranks to the top 10 and 26 ranks in the top 100 said Dr.B.S.Rao, Dr.P.Sindhura Narayana and Sushma at a press conference.

They alleged that the time given for preparation is not sufficient. Speakers said that after Group II prelims, a minimum of 5 months time will be given for mains but now only 45 days time has been given which is not sufficient.

He instructed the officials to take concrete steps to mitigate water scarcity in urban and rural areas in this summer.
