  • Hyderabad:: High Court reserves order on quash petition in AgriGold:: Justice Shankar Narayana of the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday reserved orders on a plea filed by former director of AgriGold to quash the criminal case against him. The judge competed the hearing of the plea filed by Sitha Rama Rao.
  • Kurnool:: Narendra Modi to flag off UDAN flight from Kadapa:: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first UDAN flight under the Regional Connectivity Scheme in the Kadapa-Hyderabad sector through video-conferencing from New Delhi on April 27. Minister for marketing C.Adinarayana Reddy, Rajya Sabha member C.M.Ramesh, Kadapa MP Y.S.Avinash Reddy and Kadapa MLA S.B.Amzath Basha will take part in the programme.
  • Tirupati:: Dalit associations backs Sivaprasad:: Representatives of various Dalit associations have expressed solidarity with Chittoor TDP MP N.Sivaprasad. It may be recalled that he was in the news recently for questioning the Chief Minister on the issues pertaining to Dalits. AP Scheduled Castes Welfare Association, Girijana Aikya Vedika, Girijana Vidyarthi Samakhya, BC Hakkula Porata Samiti and Ambedkar Yuvajana Sangham leaders questioned Chandrababu for harassing a Dalit MP for questioning him.
  • Vijayawada:: YSRCP leader Madusudhan Reddy questioned:: The Thullur police on Tuesday questioned YSRCP IT wing president Ch.Madhusudhan Reddy for allegedly posting objectionable comments on the Legislative Council in a social media site. Police also grilled graphic designer I.Ravi Kiran. With the title, ‘political Punch’, Kiran allegedly posted objectionable contents in the site with the photographs of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. They were left off after some time. The case is under investigation.
