  • Amaravati:: Online EAMCET from April 24:: The EAMCET online examination will be conducted from April 24 to 26 for admissions into Engineering, Agriculture and Pharma courses. The online examination for Bi.P.C. stream will be held on April 28 for agriculture and pharma courses according to EAMCET convener Dr.Ch.Sai Babu. As many as 2,77,693 candidates will be taking up the test. 1,98,068 candidates will take up for engineering stream while 80,725 for Bi.P.C stream. The test will be held from 10am to 1pm and 2.30pm to 5pm.
  • Amaravati:: Jana Sena ready to face elections at any time:: In view of the hits of earlier elections by the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan tweeted that the party is ready to face the elections much earlier in 2018.
  • Gannavaram:: Rural postal staff to go on strike from April 25:: Demanding immediate implementation of Kamalesh Chandra Committee recommendations, the rural postal staff will go on indefinite strike from April 25 according to its State president Doma Raghubabu. He said that the committee had submitted its report in last November and the Centre is neglecting in its implementation.
  • Guntur:: PCET results through SMS:: The PECET -2017 that would be held on May 1 for admissions into B.P.Ed., and UGDPEd courses said PCET convener P.Johnson. He said that the date and time and centre of the examination will be sent to the candidate’s by means of SMSes. He said that those who still want to apply can do so by paying a late fee of Rs.500 before April 28. Details can be had from www.rcheap.gov.in/pcet.
