Kirlampudi:: Police withdraw from Mudragada’s house:: The district police on Wednesday withdrew from the house of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham who was placed under house arrest on Tuesday. The police also let off his followers at different places in twin Godavari districts. Police made it clear that they would not hesitate to resort to such an action if Padmanabham planned to take out ‘satyagraha yatra’ again without permission.
Visakhapatnam:: Zilla Parishad budget approved:: The Zilla Parishad general body meeting with Chairman Lalam Bhavani presiding approved estimated budget expenditure of Rs.1,094.92 crore and revenue of rs.1,030.17 crore for 2017-18 on Wednesday. The budget was introduced by CEO Jayaprakash Narayan said for 2016-17 the revised estimates had Rs.496.14 crore revenue and Rs.520.83 crore expenditure.

Visakhapatnam:: Two militia members surrender:: Two militia members of the banned CPI (Maoists) surrendered before Deputy Superintendent of Police M.Mahendra on Wednesday. They were identified as K.Bhagwan Rao (35) of Madhigaruvu village and V. Nageswara Rao of Nurmati village.
Hyderabad:: YSRCP MPs may resign during monsoon session:: YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy said it was decided to ask the party MPs to quit from their posts and go for elections on the plant of SCS once the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s dispensation completes three years in office in June. Jagan asked the Chief Minster to recall his Ministers from the Union Cabinet and serve an ultimatum on the Union Government. The State should take inspiration from neighbouring Tamil Nadu where all the political parties had joined forces to mount pressure on the Centre for ensuring continuation of Jallikattu.
