Visakhapatnam to host next round of IATO meet

Vijayawada:: AP will host the next annual convention of Indian Association of Tour Operators in Visakhapatnam. AP Tourism CEO and MD Himashu Shukla announced it at the ongoing 33rd IATO convention at Bhubaneswar. The three-day event started on Thursday. The event was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Tourism K.J.Alphons.

ICAI State level meet beings

Vijayawada:: The Vijayawada Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is organizing a two-day State level conference at CSR Gardens near Kanakadurga Varadhi from September 9 according to a press release by ICAI chapter Chairman V.Rama Mohan Reddy. Narsapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju will participate as chief guest. AP Economic Development Board CEO J.Krishna Kishore and ICAI Chairman S.Srinivas will guests of honour.

Police recovers poison bottle from a visitor at CM’s residence

Vijayawada:: The Guntur Urban Police and the Chief Minister’s security personnel recovered a poison bottle from a visitor G.Srinivas Reddy at the Chief Minister’s residence. Srinivasa Reddy said he had been making the rounds to the Secretariat in vain for the last few days to meet the Minister Adinarayana Reddy seeking intervention for the return of Rs.5 lakh he had invested in Keshav Reddy School. He said that his children were suffering from heart ailments and that he wanted to meet the Chief Minister for financial aid. Police and security personnel in the CM’s peshi made him to speaking Adinarayana Reddy. They said that he did not attempt suicide but the security personnel while checking the luggage found the poison bottle and seized it, said Guntur Urban SP Ch.Vijaya Rao.
