Rowdy sheet opened for sexual assault

Ongole::The Prakasam police on Thursday opened rowdy sheet against three youths who were allegedly involved in the sexual assault of a 19 year old girl in Kanigiri town and filming the crime. The girl was taken to a remote temple on the town outskrits by her boy friend who allegedly committed the crime. Police invoked Section 67 of IT Act as the girl’s former lover and the accused’s friend filmed the crime and shared it on the social media.

Girl student goes missing

Kurnool:: Venkata Lakshmi (22) of Ramachandrapuram in Vizianagaram district studying Telugu Pandit course in Kurnool is reported missing since 11 days. She left the college hostel after seeking the hostel warden’s permission to go to her native place. However, when her friend called up Venkata Lakshmi’s family members two days later, replied that she had not come home. Kurnool III Town police registered a case and are investigating.

Nominated to veterinary council

Vijayawada:: The State government recently nominated P.V.Lakshmaiah, a member of the Veterinary Association to the A.P. Veterinary Council for a term of three years in accordance with Indian Veterinary Council Act of 1984. A GO to this effect was issued by the Special Chief Secretary J.S.V.Prasad.
