Vijayawada:: CPI State secretary K.Ramakrishna has demanded the State government to pay the deposit amount to the AgriGold victims at one go. He visited the centre at AR Ground Command Control Room where the documents verification was going on . He said that the value of the assets are more than the amounts to be paid, it would be justified if the amounts are paid at one go. He said that as many as 149 victims including agents had committed suicide. AgriGold customers and Agents Welfare Association honorary president Muppalla Nageswara Rao has appealed the police department to taken into consideration of the Xerox copies of the original bonds.
Amaravati:: The AP Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar suggested to form a task force comprising of the officials from police, excise, revenue and agriculture departments. He held a review meeting with the excise officials. DGP Sambasiva Rao informed the Chief Secretary that the department had been seizing the contraband goods, destroying the cultivations and registering cases.
Amaravati:: The State government has permitted to ply the buses with Arunachal State registration in Andhra Pradesh. It may be recalled that Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has objected the plying of buses of other State registrations. Around 600 sleeper buses are plying in the State. With the pressure from the MP, the State government has stopped them plying in the State. The private bus operators approached the court and got orders in their favour with the State government to permit them to ply in the State.
