Occupy houses by October end

The AP State Housing Corporation has urged the beneficiaries who were allotted houses in Basva Taraka Rama Nagar at Parawada by October 31, 2017 failing which the allotment would be cancelled without any notice according to a statement issued by Executive Engineer B.H.Srinivas. This would be construed as ‘lack of interest’ in taking possession of the houses.

Man hacked to death

Ongole:: Katta Venkateswarulu (56) was hacked to death allegedly by his son Nageswara Rao at Korravanipalem near Korisapadu in Prakasam district late on Saturday. The accused, a widower who was in an inebriated condition picked up a quarrel with his father before committing the crime said the police officials.

APCOST awards to scientists, researchers

Vijayawada:: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science and Technology (APCOST) of the department of Environment, Forests, Science and Technology has invited nominations for presentation of awards to scientists, research scholars and engineers. Sub Inspector killed in road accident

Vizianagaram:: Kanakala Kasi Viswanath working as Sub Inspector at PTC, Vizianagaram was killed in a road accident on Sunday night. According to sources, he was coming from Bobbili on a two wheeler to Vizianagaram and was hit at Ambativalasa village of Bondapalli mandal by a lorry heading towards Bobbili.
