Vigilance department detects Rs.346 crore revenue loss

East Godavari:: Vigilance and Enforcement Regional Officer T.Ramprasada Rao has said that they have identified Rs.346.56 crore of revenue in East Godavari district which has to be recovered by the government and institutions for the last one year and recommended action against the erring officials to the government. He said that they have conducted raids on sand ramps and quarry mines in the district in the last one year.

Jana Sena Party to recruit coordinators

Vijayawada:: The Jana Sena Party has initiated steps to recruit coordinators from about 8,000 short-listed candidates. According to a party statement, e-mails and SMSes will be sent to the coordinators and interviews held from November 6 at the Parliamentary constituency level. The target is to complete the process by December 7. A comprehensive training will be given to the coordinators in Hyderabad during which Pawan Kalyan will interact with them.

Former Palasa MLA Jutti Jagannaikulu dead

Palasa (Srikakulam):: Former Palasa MLA Juttu Jagannaikulu (58) died at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. He is survived by wife and three daughters. As Jagannaikulu was financially drained following continuous treatment YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has provided him Rs.15 lakh to meet the medical expenses. He was elected on Congress tickets in 2009 and a close follower of Dharmana Prasada Rao.

FALCON launched

Tirupati:: Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated the ‘Field Alert Centre for Operational Networking’ FALCON, a mobile command post developed by the Chittoor police. Chittoor SP S.V.Rajasekhar Babu explained Chandrababu the functioning of FALCON. The vehicle retrofitted with advanced digital equipment such as high resolution cameras, scanners, wireless sets, data receiving and transfer modules. Apart from deploying the command post for VIP movements, FALCON would play a crucial role in crime control. The mobile post was specially developed by Kurnool DIG Ghattamaneni Srinivas during his period as Chittoor SP in 2016.

Dr.TV Narayana appointed Director of Asian Association of Pharmacy Colleges

Rajamahendravaram:: Dr.T.V.Narayana has been appointed as Director of Asian Association of Pharmacy Colleges with headquarters in Singapore. Dr.Narayana is the first person form Telugu speaking States for the coveted post. He is presently serving as Chairman of Indian Pharmaceutical Association’s education division and also Principal of VIKAS Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

GETCO official praises Transco’s best practices

Vijayawada:: Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd., Chief Finance Manager Jaynish Modi lauded the best practices that enabled the AP Transco post commendable performance on the T&D and financial management. GETCO lags behind its peer in those parameters and it intends to draw from the expertise of AP Transco in making up for its deficiencies. He was on a two-day visit to Vidyut Soudha here and said to the officials that the line loss was very low compared to that of GETCO.
