34,510 applications received for IIIT admissions

Nuzvid:: Nuzvid IIIT incharge AO Ramakanth said that 34,510 applications have been received by Tuesday for admissions into IIIT at Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Srikakulam and Ongole for the academic year 2017-18. The last date for submission of applications is June 5 and administration expects over 40,000 applications. The classes for first year would commence on August 1 and the schedule has been uploaded in the official website. The admission counselling will be held on July 5 and 6 at Nuzvid and Idupulapaya IIIT and on July 7 and 8 for Srikakulam IIIT admission counselling will be held . The second phase of admission counselling will be held from July 22 and 25, he said.

Senior Secondary Public Examination results on Friday

The Senior Secondary Public Examinations that were held in March/April will be released on Friday while X class results on Wednesday according to National Institute of Open Schooling regional director V.Santanam. Results can be had on The registration fee for the October-November examination has to be paid before June 20.

Ashram Pathasala teachers wages hiked

Amaravati:: The contract teachers working in the State Girijan Welfare Ashram Pathasala teachers have been hiked and a GO NO.38 has been released said Minister for Social, Girijan Welfare Minister Ananda Babu. The contract teachers who were working as school assistant wages has been hiked from Rs.5,500 to Rs.14,860 and contract secondary grade teachers wages have been hiked from Rs.4,500 to Rs.10,900.
