Accused in gang-rape remanded

Vijayawada:: All the five accused in the minor girl gang-rape case were produced in a city court on Monday which remanded them to judicial custody. The police are planning to open rowdy sheets against the accused. The girl was sent to the Government General Hospital for medical assistance and her condition is stated to be stable. The police were trying to collect call data records of the mobile phones of the accused and the CCTV footage. City Police Commissioner D.Gautam Sawang said the Control room and the Satyanarayanapuram police had acted swiftly and rounded up the accused.

Norman Foster submits Amaravati designs

Vijayawada:: London based Norman Foster+ Partners submitted designs for Capital city Amaravati at the Secretariat on Monday. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, officials and representatives of the firm have come to a consensus on the designs. The firm will submit final designs in the next two weeks. Chief Minister has made some suggestions to be made. He wanted them to design huge tower from where the entire city could be viewed.
