KCR to take up recall of Vice-Chancellor with Modi
Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao assured in the Assembly on Saturday that he would take up the issue of recalling the Vice-Chancellor of University of Hyderabad with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The House witnessed uproarious scenes over the demand leading to adjournment thrice. Chief Minister said he would order a probe by a senior officer in the alleged excesses by police against students and faculty of the University of Hyderabad.


Nurses’ selection list
The corrected list of B.Sc., (Nursing) and left over GNM candidates list for appointment at KGH, Victoria Hospital and TB and Chest Diseases Hospital were uploaded on the website according ot KGH superintendent M.Madusudhana Babu. All the short-listed candidates have to report at the KGH Superintendent’s office by 10 am on March 28 along with original certificates. Details can be had on the website.

Two persons arrested for hawala deals
Two persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in illegal money circulation and Rs.22 lakh was seized from them by the City Task Force Police team. The CTF personnel conducted a raid at Sri Surya Traders and arrested the accused Ch.Ramu and R.P.V.Santosh Kumar while they were making arrangements to smuggle Rs.22 lakhs in a suspected hawala transaction. DCP C.M.Trivikrama Varma said that on interrogation tht the accused have reportedly admitted and transferring the money between merchants of Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada and Hyderabad who were all dealing in Chinese mobile phones, iron scrap, electrical and electronic goods. They had collected Rs.61.38 lakh from different parties and distributed Rs.56.71 lakh to other merchants on a single day.

Assistant Sub Inspector examination on April 4
The written examination for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector will be conducted on April 4 between 10am to 12.30pm at six examination centres. Candidates who have applied for the post may download their admit cards/hall tickets from and and advised to report to the respective centres by 8am according to a press release.

Rs. 18 lakh per acre compensation for Visakha-Chennai Industrial Corridor
District Collector Dr. N.Yuvaraj announced that the land owners whose land will be acquired by the district administration for Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor in Nakkapalli mandal would get a compensation of Rs.18 lakh per acre of land. He urged the farmers to cooperate with the government and said that the revenue officials would be visiting DL Puram, Rajayapeta, Kanjavada and Vempadu villages during the next month. About 2,310 acres have been proposed for the corridor.
