Chief Minister to launch MSME Corporation

Vijayawada:: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Corporation at ‘A’ Convention Centre on June 27 marking the International Day of MSME. District Collector B.Lakshmi Kantam stated in a press release. Chandrababu will present awards to 20 best performing entrepreneurs.

Venkaiah Naidu’s remarks on loan waiver is an insult to farmers

Vijayawada:: Former Minister Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao has termed the Union Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu’s remark that seeking a ‘farm loan waiver has become a fashion’ is an insult. He demanded an apology from the Union Minister who claims to b farmer’s son made such comments. It showed his attitude towards the poor farmers.

Vizianagaram:: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday made a passing reference during his ‘Mann ki Baath’ on Sunday to the feat achieved by the district administration by construction 10,000 Individual sanitary latrines under the Swachh Bharat in a record 100 hours in 71 gram panchayats. The district administration took a huge task with peoples’ participation. From 6am on the 10th of March till 10am of the 14th March. He congratulated the district officials and people on this accomplishment.

Social boycott of Dalits leads to tension

Eluru:: Tension prevailed at the Garagaparru village of Palakoderu mandal in West Godavari on Sunday with the police preventing the entry of outsiders into the village where an alleged social boycott had been imposed on Dalits by the upper castes for the last two months. With the news in air a couple of days ago, the Left Parties, YSRCP and the Congress called upon their cadre to visit the village to assess the situation. The district police deputed hundreds of police to the village and arranged many check posts at the entry points. The police made identity check and physical frisking mandatory to enter the village leading to arguments between the political parties and their rights groups with the officers on duty.

Sri Krishna Ashramam chairman complains to DIG on Prabhakara Reddy

Anatapuram:: Sri Krishna Ashramam chairman Surya today lodged a complaint with DIG on JC Prabhakar Reddy. In his complaint, he stated that Prabhakar Reddy has obstruction transporting of sand and stopped supply of water to the Ashramam. Surya wanted a case be booked against Prabhakar Reddy said sources.

MLA Bhaskar Reddy and 35 followers undergoes deeksha in prison

Chittoor:: YSRCP MLA Dr.Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy along with his 35 followers were lodged in prison in the issue of shifting of waste material dumping yard were reportedly not taking food and continuing deeksha. They reportedly stated that they would continue till their demand is met. It may be recalled that Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and 35 of his followers were arrested on Friday and was remanded to 14 days judicial custody till July 7 by Puttur 1st class Magistrate.
