Deputy Chief Minister KEK asks Jagan to reconsider his decision by-election

Kurnool:: Deputy Chief Minister K.E.Krishna Murty today urged the leader of the Opposition in the Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to reconsider his party’s decision to field a candidate in the ensuing Nandyal Assembly by-election. Speaking to workers, he said that Jagan should follow the convention and allow unanimous election. Ministers K.Srinivasulu and Bhuma Akhila Priya were among others present.

Gorantla Butchiah Chowdary challenges Opposition or a debate on Pattiseema

Rajamahendravaram:: MLA Gorantla Butchiah Chowdary has challenged the Opposition and former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar to participate in a debate on the Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project on July 18. Addressing the media, he said that the project was the best in the State as 13 lakh acres in Krishna district was being irrigated with the Godavari water. He said the farmers of Krishna district had utilized 55 tmc of water and saved crop worth Rs.2,500 crore in the first year, he said.

Senior residents counselling on July 12 and 13

Amaravati:: The medical students who have completed their post graduate course have to undergo one year government service need to attend senior residents counselling scheduled to be held on July 12 and 13. The counselling will be held at Siddardha Government Medical College in Vijayawada. The 2014-15 batch Post Graduate medical students who have completed by july 30 need to participate in the counselling.

Junior Civil Judge examination on August 20

Hyderabad:: The written test for the Junior Civil Judge posts will be held on August 20 from 10am to 12 noon at Hyderabad, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Warangal centres according to a press release.

Venkataramana appointed as AP Legal department secretary

Hyderabad:: The High Court has appointed D.Venkata Ramana as the AP legal department secretary. At present, he is the 10th Additional District and Sessions Judge at Gurajala. The orders have been issued on Friday. He will continue to be in the post for one year said the Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar.
