Kurnool:: The State government will generate three lakh jobs in the next two years said the Minister for Information Technology and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh today. Addressing beneficiaries of NREGS and WUAs at Kamalapuram on the second day of his tour in Kadapa district. He said one lakh jobs would be created in IT sector, mobile phone, and cell towering manufacturing companies.
Vijayawada:: With the last date for submission of applications for the medical ‘A’ category seats that ended on Wednesday, as many as 20,212 candidates have applied said Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences Registrar Dr.S.Appalanaidu. The merit list will be released on Thursday and the certificate verification would be held from July 15 to 21. Final merit list would be released after completion of certificate verification, he said. The last date for ‘B’ category and NRI quota seats is going to end on July 19, he said.

He said that those 13 students who got place Gunnies Book of World Records have been admitted into Loyola College. Swarna Bharati Trust has donated Rs.3 lakhs for the students’ education.
Vijayawada:: The Andhra Pradesh Textile Federation president Busireddy Malleswara Reddy announced that they are shutting their shops from July 14 to 16 in protest against GST. A meeting was held here from the representatives of all the 13 districts. He said that an agitation forum in the name of ‘Textile GST Sagharshan Committee’ on nationwide agitation. He said that the shutting down of the shops are part of the call given by it.
