’Will work with Centre’ for Polavaram’, says Chief Minister

Undavalli :: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed to resolve to work together with the Central government for speedy execution of the Polavaram project irrespective of who the contractor is. Speaking at the State level workshop of the party MPs, MLAs, MLCs , he said that the Navayuga Engineering Company Ltd., had came forward to executive the concrete works at the old rates. He said that the project cost had escalated from Rs.16,100 core in 2010-11 to approximately Rs.58,320 crore by 2013-14. Of the Rs.7,430 crore spent on the project so far, only Rs.4,325 crore was released by the Centre.

Former DGP R.K.Ragala passed away

Hyderabad:: Former DGP Ramakondala Ragala (80) passd away at his residence at Habbisguda Kakatiyanagara in Hyderabad today. He was suffering for the past few months. He hails from Chadalavada village in Pattipadu mandal of East Godavari distict worked as DGP for seven months in 1994. He held vaious posts including State Home Secretary, Fire Services DG, Communication IG. He is survived by three daughters and one son who was living in US.

Regularize employees working LIC

Amaravati: Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao has written a letter to the Union Minister Arun Jaitely to regularize the temporary employees working in LIC.
