Award for ONGC Rajahmundry Asset

Rajamahendravaram:: The ONGC Rajahmundry Asset was given the ‘Best onshore asset award’ of the Oil Industry Safety Directorate on Saturday. ONGC CMD Shashi Shanker and Rajahmundry Asset Executive Director D.M.R.Sekhar received the award for 2016-17 from Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan at a programme in Bhubaneswar.

Chief Minister discussed nothing with Prime Minister

Vijayawada:: YSRCP has demanded that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu make public the 20 issues he discussed with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Party senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana speaking to media in Hyderabad tody said the 20 issues discussed were not new as they were already incorporated in the State Re-organization Act. He said that Chandrababu was using his office for personal benefit and getting his personal works done.

State to release its share of Krishna water to Chennai

Vijayawada:: The State government will soon release 3.33 tmcft Krishna water to Tamil Nadu to meet the drinking water needs of Chennai city. AP Water Resources Department Principal Secretary Shashi Bhushan Kumar issued an order permitting the NTR Telugu Ganga Project Chief Engineer to release 3.33 tmcft from the Kandaleru Reservoir to Poondi Reservoir.

Vizianagaram enters Limca Book of Records

Vizianagaram:: Vizianagaram district has found a place in Limca Book of Records for its achievement in construction of 10,000 toilets in 100 hours in Mach last. The feat was entered in the latest records of Limca Book, which was released last week. Prime Minister Modi had appreciated the district administration for achieving the target in his ‘Man ki Baat’ programme on AIR.
