  • Vijayawada:: Chief Minister trying to hijack SCS’, says Ambati Rambabu:: YSRCP political advisory committee member Ambati Rambabu today said that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu began picking up pace who tried to subvert it several times is now trying to hijack it. Speaking to media, he said that Chandrababu was demanding the SCS just to hijack the agitation and ultimately dilute it. He said the public should not forget the way that Chandrababu had subverted the agitation saying the Special Package announced by the Centre was much better than SCS, he reminded.
  • Hyderabad:: High Court wants new building in Amaravati:: The full court meeting of the sitting judges of the High Court in Hyderabad has favoured a proposal for a new building for the Andhra Pradesh High Court to be constructed near the site where the permanent building is to come up at the Justice City in Amaravati. The committee of five judges, which visited three buildings proposed by the government, was not fully satisfied with the facilities. It is learnt that the committee felt that the building do not meet the requirements and the majesty befitting the institution. The AP government requested the High Court to send a team so that the High Court exclusively for the State could start functioning till the permanent building is built. The committee visited these buildings on February 10 and 11. The government had proposed to build a new building about half a km from the site.
