Kurnool:: YSRCP has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission today alleging that the TDP workers and leaders of other areas are moved about freely in vehicles that di not have registration numbers and influenced voters near polling stations ignoring EC’s directive. Meanwhile, DIG of Rayalaseema Ghattamaneni Srinivas said that TDP MLA of Banaganapalle BC Janardhana Reddy near a temple at Yalluru in Gospadu mandal and escorted him out of the constituency. Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya’s sister Bhuma Naga Mounika Reddy who entered a polling station with her followers had an argument with the police when the latter sent the followers out of the polling station at Nandaurinagar.
Anantapur:: The CPI(M) today demanded the State government to release the pending loan waiver amount in one go. Speaking to media, CPI(M) district secretary Rambhupal said that the government had released only Rs.1,047 crore out of Rs.2,247 crore into the accounts of the farmers as part of the first phase of the farm loan waiver.

Vijayawada:: Vice-President M.Venkaiah Naidu will reach the Secretariat at Velagapudi in an open jeep on August 26. Speaking to press here Minister for Health Dr.Kamineni Srinivas said that the Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Ministers and other would welcome Venkaiah Naidu at Gannavaram Airport at 9.10am. He would reach the Secretariat premises at 10.40am. He said that the Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, industrialists and others would attend the reception. Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate a pylon of housing scheme near the Secretariat that was sanctioned 2.25 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
