  • HYDERABAD: Mysoora Reddy says goodbye to YSRCP::Former Minister and YSRCP senior leader MV Mysoora Reddy resigned to the party. He faxed his resignation letter to party president Jagan Mohan Reddy. He is maintaining distance with the party for the past some time. He was in the forefront in running the party at difficult times when Jagan was arrested. Sources said that he could not get the desired status in the party and also the party ignored him for Rajya Sabha seat.
  • Mental Police title will be changed even after watching the show:: The movie ‘Mental Police’ director and producer said that they have received representations from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Police to change the title as it hurts the morale of the police. They said that the movie will be shown to them and even then if they insist for a change of title, they have no objection for this, they said. It may be recalled the Hyderabad High Court has stayed the release of the movie.
  • KHAMMAM: Dana Kishore is the new District Collector:: In the back drop of the Election Commission ordered the transfer of Khammam District Collector Lokesh Kumar, Superintendent of Police Shahnawaz Qasim, and Palair Returning Officer Ganesh, Dana Kishore was appointed as the new District Collector. Dana Kishore is currently working as Managing Director of Water Board. Rama Rajeswari is appointed as new Superintendent of Police. She is currently working as SP of Ranga Reddy district. Shankar is appointed as deputy Election Returning Officer.
  • RAJAHMAHENDRAVARAM: Adikavi Nannayya University ties up with US university:: Adikavi Nannayya University is all set to offer programmes like CPA to enable the youth seeking jobs abroad by tying up with the University of Virgin Island, USA on Tuesday. Stephen Reames, Dean, School of Business, VUI, James Maddirala, Associate Professor, Global Engagement, Academic Affairs, UVI and I.V.Muralikrishna, former Professor, JNTU Hyderabad had partnership meeting with Adikavi Nannayya University VC Mutyala Naidu, Academic Affairs Dean S.Teki, Registrar E.N.Dhanunjaya Rao. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mutyala Naidu said that the UVI centre on the university campus here would be the first CPA centre in the country and the second in the world after Dubai.
  • 'ONGOLE: YSRCP Addanki MLA Ravi Kumar joins TDP:: Another YSRCP MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar on Tuesday announced his decision to formally join the ruling TDP today. The three time MLA said he along with his followers including local body representatives will formally join the TDP in presence of Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu at A Convention centre in Vijayawada. 100 ZPTC, MPTC, MPP and cooperative society members would also join the TDP along with Ravi Kumar.
