Kurnool:: YSRCP’s Rytu Bharosa Yatra from January 5:: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take up Rytu Bharosa Yatra in the district from January 5. The yatra will begin from Srisailam and in the first phase, he will take up at Srisailam and Nandyal. During the weeklong yatra from January 5 to 11, Jagan Reddy will assure the families of the families of the farmers who committed suicide due to debts and non-waiver of loans.
Nellore:: Death toll rises to 7 in cracker blast:; In the Nellore Porlukatta cracker blast, the death tool rose to seven with one more worker Indla Mani (30) died on Tuesday. It may be recalled that a blast took place in the cracker manufacturing unit on December 31, 2016.
Visakhapatnam:: Chief of the Navy Staff will be coming: The Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba will arrive on Wednesday for a three-day visit to the Eastern Naval Command. He is accompanied by President of Navy Wives’ Welfare Association Reena Lanba. During his visit, he will address officers, sailors, defence civilians and personnel from Defence Security Corps separately according to a press release. He will inaugurate the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Centre at INHS Kalyani on Thursday.
Visakhapatnam:: Dak Adalat on January 30:: The 97th Dak Adalat is scheduled to be held on January 30 at 11 am at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Visakhapatnam Division. Complaints pertaining to mails, speed-post, registered letters and parcels, counter services, money orders and savings bank account will be taken up at the Adalat. Complaints should be sent to K.V.L.N.Murty, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Visakhapatnam on or before January 20.
Visakhapatnam:: Dial Your University from January 6:; Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Prof.G.Nageswara Rao will launch the ‘Dial Your University’ programme on January 6. It will be held on the first Friday of every month from 10.30am to 11.30am and the number is 0891-2844455.
Visakhapatnam:: 175 trainees get job offers:: The last batch of placement linked free skill development training programme sponsored by Power Grid Corporation of India Ld., concluded on Tuesday. Out of 175 trainees, 123 have already got placement offers and efforts are on to provide employment to others according to a spokesman for Indo-German Institute Advanced Technology that conducted the programme.
