  • Amaravati:: Rs.17 crore for drinking water plant at Uddanam:: The State government has issued orders sanctioning Rs.17.30 crore for establishment of drinking water plant at Uddanam in Srikakulam district. The mineral water will be supplied to the villages under the purview of ITDA along with Uddanam.

  • Tirupati:: Online grievance cell for lodging complaints:: APSDCL Consumer grievance Redressal Forum chairman and retired judge Jagadish Chandra Rao said that to address the grievances of the power consumers, an online portal will be opened shortly. In a meeting held here, he said that the consumers in the eight districts of the Discom, the consumers can lodge their grievances through online. To end in this view, he ordered the Chief General Manager (Planning) to take up necessary steps in this direction.

He said that the he was ready to order a judicial inquiry into the allegations that Agriculture Minister P.Pulla Rao secretly purchased AgriGold land if Jagan accepted the challenge made on the floor of the Assembly. It may be recalled that Pulla Rao said he would resign if the allegations made by Jagan are proved and challenged Jagan to resign if otherwise.
