  • Vijayawada:: Ganja worth over Rs.1.3 crore seized:: Personnel of the Commissioner’s Task Force on Thursday seized two trucks of ganja weighing 2,744 kg at Ramavarappadu. The contraband is worth Rs.1.30 crore and the police arrested four persons. Sources said that the contraband good is being transported to Bengaluru from Anakapalle.
  • Vijayawada:: Sarita Kakani receives diabetes awareness award:: Diabetes specialist Sarita Kakani received ‘Diabetes Awareness initiative Award-2016 for her contribution among the public at New Delhi on Thursday said a release. Dr.Sarita said that the award was given by Diabetes India, one of the largest bodies for diabetes in the country at the 7th World Congress of Diabetes.
