Kurnool:: Stemi meet in Vijayawada on July 1 and 2:: The Cardiological Society of India AP Chapter and the AP Physicians’ Association are organizing a national Stemi (ST Elevation Myocardia Infraction) meet in Vijayawada on July 1 and 2 according to Society’s honorary president P.Chandrasekhar. Under the Stemi programme, diagnosis is initially made by performing an electrocardiogram in primary health centres or urban health centres in peripheral areas by trained para medical ECG technicians to detect if the patient suffered a heart attack. The ECG report is forwarded by WhatsApp to cardiologists of government hospitals.

Tirumala:: RSASTF seizes 193 red sanders logs worth Rs.15 crore:: The Red Sanders Anti Smuggling Task Force personnel recovered 193 red sanders logs, seized four vehicles and nabbed nine smuggling operatives in three separate incidents in Chittoor and Kadapa districts on Saturday. The market value of the seized is expected to be around Rs.15 crore in the international market.
